FRIDAY 10 MAY 2019
Two of the four ‘Cooking Safari’ events being held at Wallingford Homestead for this year’s Winter F.A.W.C. series have sold out.
CHB Tourism Co-Ordinator, Anna Baldwin, says Wallingford has been transformed into a unique and exciting food and wine destination thanks to new owners Chris Stockdale, who is a highly acclaimed chef, and wife Jeanette.
Anna says each course during the 'Cooking Safari' will be prepared utilising the Wallingford gardens and surrounds, with guests collecting edible goodies from the garden, trufflery and farmland.
Chris and Jeanette will lead guests through a delicious four-course tasting menu and a splash of four delicious local wines.
The events on the 8th & 22nd of June have already sold out, with limited tickets remaining for the 15th & 29th of June.
Tickets are available from the website www.fawc.co.nz.
