CHB Police are asking people in rural areas to be on the lookout for a suspicious vehicle which has been seen entering driveways of properties.

Senior Constable Glynn Sharp said a silver or grey station wagon with tinted windows has been seen entering driveways in the Paget Rd area.

He said on two occasions, the occupants of the houses have gone to investigate resulting in the vehicle driving away at speed.

No registration number has been obtained as of yet, and Mr Sharp said Police would like to appeal to anyone having a similar experience to ring 111 immediately as the occupants of this vehicle are highly likely to be burglars.

He said Police would love to aquaint themselves with them.
