Sir Elton John has rescheduled the second of his concerts at the Mission Concert next year.

In a statement, promoters said an unforseen scheduling conflict has forced them to move the second show, originally scheduled for Saturday February 8th, to a week later.

All tickets purchased remain valid for the rescheduled show, but full refunds are available for those unable to make the new date.

Central Hawke’s Bay District Council will begin hearings on its draft Annual Plan today.

Public feedback closed mid-April, with Council receiving 134 submissions from individuals and groups.

36 submitters are expected to present their feedback to Council at a Submission Hearing today at the CHB Municipal Theatre in Waipawa.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the hearings, which begin at 9am.

Mayor Alex Walker says it is exciting to see so many people willing to share their views and to participate in Councils' decision making process.

The Council is expected to adopt the 2019/20 Annual Plan on 20 June 2019.

The westbound lane of the Saddle Road is closed again today to allow NZTA to undertake upgrade work.

The closure is between 8.30am - 2.30pm, with motorists having to use the Pahiatua Track.
