More than $8000 was raised for the Breast Cancer Foundation at a fundraising auction at The Leopard Hotel in Waipukurau on Saturday.
The hotel was packed for the auction – with many dressing up in pink for the occasion.
The top two lots were a 60 second grocery grab, donated by New World Waipukurau, and a weekend at Wairakei Resort in Taupo, donated by SAH Contracting, with both lots going for over $1000.
Organiser, Chrystall Lorck, said it was an amazing day supported by locals and visitors.
She said it was a great atmosphere with Pik Atkinson singing, and a lot of laughs from the crowd.
Chrystall said it was great to see a battle between the bids.
