Patangata Bridge Closure
Wednesday 20th November - 9:00am - 3:30pm
Thursday 21st November - 9:00am - 3:30pm
Central Hawke's Bay District Council are advising of upcoming bridge closure for the Patangata bridge to have its annual inspection, there will be detours in place but will add considerable time to your journey. The bridge will open from 12pm -12:30pm for half an hour on both days to allow traffic to pass through
CHB Christmas Spirit - 2024 Toy Drive
Please make sure the gifts are new and unwrapped so they can make sure they get given to the appropriate child's parcel. This year they are also taking monetary donations, which they use to buy wrapping paper, cellotape, and additional gifts to top up the donations when needed.

CHB Community Patrols - Volunteers Wanted
Community Patrols Waipukurau are looking for volunteers to help with evening community patrols across Waipukurau & Waipawa. Patrols usually take 2-2.5 hours, and volunteers patrol in teams of two. Volunteers can expect to be patrolling schools and businesses, checking for insecure buildings, damage and looking out for suspicious activity which is reported directly to local police.
