8 Weeks starting Monday 22 April | 7pm-6am
Plan ahead for eight weeks of overnight STOP/GOs between Ruataniwha St and Church/Victoria St, 7pm to 6am each night Sunday to Thursdays starting Monday 22 April.
Please stop on request, adhere to temporary speed limits where in place and expect delays of up to five minutes through the area. These works are dependent on various factors and could be extended at short notice.

Bling a Bra for Breast Cancer
Entries Close May 22nd
$5 Registration Fee
Bling up an old bra with your creativity and help support Breast Cancer awareness. Simply drop off your bedazzled creation at Funky Things in Waipawa along with a $5 entry fee. Entries will be judged on May 26th. Top 10 entries will be auctioned off with proceeds being donated to NZ Breast Cancer.
Need inspiration? Funky Fings Waipawa is holding a workshop pm 7th May at 6.30pm. Workshop costs $15 and includes entry fee, bra and bling.
Hill Country Walk - Fundraiser
Sunday, May 26th | Briefing at 8.30am | 9am Start
Friends of Kererū School & The Kereru Hall Society invite you to join them for a walk over spectacular hill country on a local station nestled into the foothills of the Ruahine Ranges at Kereru. Enjoy 360 degree views from the tops.
There is a 15km and 10 km option for the walks.
A good level of fitness will be required for both tracks.
Delicious homemade packed lunch is provided within the ticket price of $55 per person.
Briefing is at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am start.
Cash only on the day for BBQ and raffles.
Please, no animals are to be brought onto the property.

Tararua REAP - Meth Educations & Solutions

Workshop presenter Peter Thorburn triumphed over a 23-year battle with addiction, including eight yeas of P dependency, time as one of NZ's most notorious meth cooks, and a stint in prison. Following his prison release, Peter experienced a profound transformation and has spent the last 18 years working as an addiction and mental health specialist and advocate.

• Even numbered houses on even days of the month (i.e. if you live at number 10, you may use a sprinkler or hose on the 2nd, 4th, 6th... of the month)
• Odd numbered houses on odd days of the month (i.e. if you live at number 11, you may use a sprinkler or hose on the 1st, 3rd, 5th... of the month)
No hosing of hard surfaces as part of general cleaning. Spot cleaning is permitted for health, safety or emergency reasons only.

CHB Community Patrols - Volunteers Wanted
Community Patrols Waipukurau are looking for volunteers to help with Friday and Saturday night community patrols to help spread the coverage of Waipukurau & Waipawa patrols.
Patrols usually take 2-2.5 hours, and volunteers patrol as a team of two.
Volunteers can expect to be patrolling schools and businesses, checking for insecure premises, damage and looking out for any suspicious behaviour which is reported directly to local police.
